Caregiving Awards Luncheon
Community Caregiver of the Year
February 14th, 2022
What is a caregiver?
Is it someone who is one part courageous and one part compassionate? Is a caregiver someone who is drawn to ensuring the dignity and well being of another who is experiencing their darkest times? Is a caregiver someone who sees past themselves to give a hand up?
All of the above. A caregiver is a special person--paid or unpaid--who performs small and large heroics on an everyday basis.
This November 12th, Alzheimer's Texas will honor caregivers, the hidden heroes of healthcare, with a special virtual afternoon gala. Ten special caregivers will receive a grant of $1,000, and the luncheon is for any caregiver or healthcare worker who has tended to someone with a debilitating disease or has gone above and beyond in creating an atmosphere for special needs individuals.
Thank you to our sponsors!
